5SC2 Mini Reunion

Posted by Mars Laini at 8:37 PM 0 comments
Assalamualaikum..

Alhamdulillah hari ni disertakan dengan hujan lebat rahmat dariNya berserta dengan idea nak masak apa untuk papa bila dia balik makan tengahari, cik puan raidah (baca ketua kelas) decide untuk buat mini reunion geng 5sc2 hari ni.

Dekat dengan 4 tahun tak jumpa memasing sibuk dengan pembelajaran. Dulu masa sekelas dengan kanak-kanak ribena ni memang havoc lah. Kelas paling riuh, kelas lain pun tak riuh macam kelas kami hahaha.

Hikhok.

Oleh kerana cyah aka asiah juga balik malaysia tahun ni (from japan, she studied there), maka kami setiap sorang dapat ole-ole.

Short Story : Orange

Posted by Mars Laini at 2:37 PM 0 comments
*now in english version.. just my imaginary story okay*

Sunny Sunday. Mars sits on a bench at a playground, waiting for her friend, Rabi, for their usual weekend date. She anxiously peeks at her watch, wondering why her friend doesn't arrive yet.

"I hope nothing bad happen to her" mumbled Mars.

Suddenly, a hand taps Mars's shoulder from behind. Shocked, she jumps from the bench then after that, she hears a loud laughter.

"Is it funny, making me surprised like that?" said Mars while she crossed her arms.

"Sorry sorry. I'm just joking around. Sorry too because I'm late. I'm on my way to meet you when an ice cream truck passed by so I stopped for a while. Here, my treat." said Rabi cheerily as she passed a cone of chocolate mint ice cream to Mars. "I know, your favorite".

Smiling, Mars takes the ice cream from her hand. "Thanks" she mumbled.

"So, what we're going to do today?" ask Mars.

"Well, last weekend we planted flowers behind the nearby forest. I think we should do some more activity to the Mother Nature again today. Won't cha?" said Rabi.

"How about feeding those stray cats that lived under the bridge we always crossed by? I feel sorry for them lately" said Mars.

"I think so. It's been a long time we didn't pay them a visit. Now shall we go." Rabi said and she immediately grabs Mars's arm and rushed forward.

As they are walking together, a little girl, with smudgy dress greets them. She brings along a basket full of oranges with her. For a moment Rabi and Mars didn't realize until Mars feels someone tug her blouse's hem.

"Good evening, Miss. Would you like to buy some oranges? They're only 50 cents each." said the girl, holding up a little orange to them.

Mars and Rabi look at each other continuously. After a while, Rabi smiled and knelt down to the girl, patting her head.

"How about both of us take all the oranges from you? Okay Mars?" said Rabi glancing to her friend.

"Well yes! Absolutely!" said Mars happily.

"Is it okay Miss? You don't have to buy if you don't want to." said the girl. There's sound of guilt in her voice.

"It's okay. After all I want to make lots of orangettes today." said Rabi happily as she takes the basket of oranges from the girl.

Rabi and Mars quickly count their money and give them to the little girl.

"This is so much from the oranges' price. I can't take it" said the girl, giving back some of the money.

Mars smiles and shakes her head. "No dear, just take it. We won't mind anything"

"Yeah. Just treat yourself with an ice cream, or a new dress won't cha" said Rabi.

The little girl quickly thanked them and after giving a quick hug for both of them, she walks away with tears in her eyes.

"Wow you seems generous today. What brings it out?" ask Mars.

"Well, at least we gotta help her although for a bit don't we?" Rabi grinned.

"Anyway, what are orangettes?" ask Mars again.

"Oh.. Slices of oranges dipped in chocolate. Good for tea time. C'mon, I'll make lots of it after we feed those stray cats okay" said Rabi.

"Okay then" Mars said cheerily.

With that, both of them arms in arms walk away from the road.

Cerita Pendek : Village Girls

Posted by Mars Laini at 7:58 PM 0 comments

"Ish lambat lagi kita. Nanti habis rambutan tu diorang bantai" kata faten sambil mendengus.

"Lahh tadi awak yang nak makan aiskrim dekat kedai pak mat tu. Siapa yang lambat sekarang?" kata mas.

"Hahaha hari panas sangatlah.

Kelihatannya kabur kerana basah terendam air.

"Kami ingat kami dah lambat tadi sebab tu saya kasuh cepat-cepat" kata Ana sambil menarik Nab bangun daripada air. Mujurlah tali air itu cetek sahaja. Mereka pun bukannya pandai berenang sangat.

"Shut it Ibah kalau tak awak pulak yang berenang kat sana" kata faten.

Sahabatlah katakan.

"Kita basah macam ni sebab rambutan. Kalau rambutan dah habis nanti sia-sia saja usaha kita bergelumang air sawah tadi" kata mas sambil memerah bajunya yang masih tersisa air.

"Apa susah. Kalau rambutan dah habis kita panjat lagi" kata Ibah.

"Good idea.

"Amboi amboi. Awak biarkan Im panjat sorang-sorang sedangkan awak berdua bersantai kat bawah ni" kata faten sambil bercekak pinggang.

"Eh dah sampai. Eh kenapa basah empat orang ni?" kata irna sambil menunjuk ke arah mas, faten, ana dan nab.

"Tak nak cakap pasal tu lagi. Mana rambutan kami?" kata Nab.

"Wei korang kalau nak makan sama tolonglah panjat sekali.

Kelihatan balqis seperti kelihatan tercekik sesuatu.

"Uhukk.. uhukk.. biji.. rambutan.. tersekat" kata balqis tersekat-sekat.

"Tulahh qis, time makan jangan gelak banyak sangat. Kan dah tercekik" kata faten sambil tergelak lagi.

Broken Wings

Posted by Mars Laini at 10:21 AM 0 comments
Once upon a time, there lived a little girl by herself. Her mother and father had passed away a long long time ago when she was still very small. The fairy godmother loved her very much for she was an unfortunate and innocent child. The fairy gave her a pair of beautiful, white wings when she grew a little bit older. The fairy said to her "these wings, will help you, make you strong and happy, although you are all alone in this world".

The little girl indeed was very happy after she got the wings. She would fly every day wherever she want, playing with the birds and butterflies, picking the fruits on the highest peaks of trees, reaching the highest peaks of the beautiful mountains, all she did happily by herself and her wings.

One day, she flew a bit low from usually to take a closer look at a blue lake she caught by passing. Beside the lake, there was a small village, full of its people doing their daily chores. Amazed, that little girl landed at the village. She had been longed to know how is it to have few friends in her life as she's alone for a long time.

The villagers were very amazed to a little girl with a pair of beautiful wings. They never seen such girl before. The little girl was welcomed in the village. Everyone wanted to be her friends and she was very happy at first.

Day by day she met a lot of people. "Little girl, can you help to lift this bricks? I'm not strong enough." ask one of the villagers. "But I'm not strong enough too. Look at my little hands." said the girl. "Ah, but you can use your wings to lift the bricks right?" demand the villager. Thinking to help the poor villager, the little girl used her wings to lift the heavy and dirty bricks, staining her white wings. Once the work has done, the villagers left without saying thank you to her.

The next day other villager, a woman, come to see her. "Little girl, can you please make this fire bigger? I want to bake some breads. Use you wings to blow the fire." ask the woman. Innocently, the little girl just do what she wanted. As the fire grew bigger, unintentionally one of her wings caught the fire. She screamed for the woman's help, but the woman, feared that the fire would spread to her house, she threw the little girl out of her house and slammed shut the door.

That little girl sobbed knowing she had lost one of her wing. But the ruthless villagers still want to take advantage of her.

"Can we take your feathers from the wings? We believe that it can cure any illness we get." and then all the villagers that once said they were her friends, started to plucked every feather they can get from the little girl's only wing left.

"Stop! Stop! It hurts!" said the little girl. But the villagers didn't stop neither hear her cries. They kept plucking the feathers until there were nothing left. For that, the little girl completely lost both of her wings. Knowing that she cannot be use anymore, the villagers threw her out of their village to the nearby forest.

Through days and nights, she cried alone, hoping that those 'friends' of her would help her as she had help them before, but none of them come back for her. She had lost her wings for the one she thought were her loyal friends but they were just ruthless people, who took advantages on her ability.

 End.

That little girl? Or those villagers? Fikirlah sendiri.

Jalan Putih

Posted by Mars Laini at 2:40 PM 0 comments
Seluas bumi Tuhan sekerdil hambaNya
Namun sudah biasa
Dipulaukan manusia

Seolah-olah asing pada pandangan
Jalan kecil yang terbentang di hadapan
Sunyi, putih
Seakan-akan menunggu, memanggil

Dingin nafas yang dihirup
Sedingin udara yang menghembus
Aman dalam belaian kasih sayang
Yang maha Esa

Kuatkan aku, cekalkan aku
Di liku liku salji ini
Di jalan yang Kau tunjukkan ini
Hindarkan aku
Daripada segala celaan dunia
Lindungi aku
Dalam pelukan rahmatMu

Dan aku akan terus melangkah
Hadapan dan ke hadapan lagi
Di jalan putih itu

Pitter Patter of the Raindrops

Posted by Mars Laini at 11:03 PM 0 comments
Assalamualaikum..

Life.. is not always bright. The sun will not always shine. The sky will not always blue. But I've learn something. Something that I think, only me will understand.

Not all sunshine gives you warmth
I've learn to dance in the rain
The raindrops caress me as they tell me something

Each drop from the heaven
Makes the earth alive once again
So do me

The pat of the rain on my head
Is just like a mother
Who pats her child
Smoothly, soothingly, calmly

Sometimes the dark clouds indeed
Bring thunders and lighting
But they teach me
Not to be afraid, not to be scared
As they too are one of us

I'm not always looking forward for sunny days. As me is truly a Pluviophile, I prefer the rain at most. Weird huh? Never mind I love being me :)
